The College is endowed with a fully computerized main library with an area of 750 Sq.mt, which has acollection of nearly 24107 books, 1936 Reference Books, 2500 CD ROMs, 55 Floppies, 35 Audio Cassettes besides subscribing to nearly 142 national and international journals and 43 leading magazines. In addition it has a collection of 515 back volumes of journals and magazines. A comfortably furnished airconditioned reading room that provides conducive environment for its members Nagu. Apart from this, individual departments have their own specialised collection of books.We have a separative section for PG courses.The library has a special collection of books for the various examinations, which includes BEC, TOEFL, GRE, GATE (all Branches), and UPSC
The Library will be kept open on all working days from 8.30 a.m. to 06.00 p.m.
All students, teaching and non-teaching staff are members of the Library.
Books will be lent to the members only against Borrower’s Bar Coding Library Card. All the B.E./B.Tech. students will be given 4 Books and PG students will be given 5 Books. Bar Coding Library Card must be under the careful custody of the members, whose name is there on the card, and is not transferable. The mebers shall be responsible for any book borrowed against that card.
Bar Coding Library Card must be returned to the Library when the student leaves the college either at the completion of the course or discontinuing the course for various reasons.
Duplicate Bar Coding Library Card will be issued against a charge of Rs. 100/- after ensuring that the card is lost. The member shall be responsible for any book issued against a lost card.
The members have to inform to the Librarian immediately, if the Bar Coding Library Card is lost.
Borrowers are responsible for the loss or damage to the books borrowed. The date slip and the number label should not be tampered with.
All members should return all the books taken by them for a period of one week to enable verification of stocks during the academic year as and when indicated by the Principal. .
Reference Books, Digital Materials and copies of University examination question papers will not be lent out.
The Librarian may recall any book at any time even if the normal period of loan has not expired, if the book is in demand.
Air conditioned internet centre with 45 Mbps wireless dedicated line with high end computers are provide for the stduents use. The campus is fully connected with intranet facility. Staffs and students are provided to access the internet.The Campus along with the Hostel is Wi-fi enabled. Students can research on the Net referring to many journals and publications, etc. They can access the web anytime, anywhere whether it is the Campus premises or the hostel.
There are separate hostel for Boys and Girls. Hygeneric food and surroundings add to the efficiency of hostlers.Tutors in the hostel help weak students to equip themselves with difficult subjects.It is a perfect home away from their homes where they never become homesick
We have over 240 I7-11 gen computers, which are fully networked and have the latest software. The computer centre is fully air conditioned with adequate UPS backup, having covered area of more than 15000 sq.ft and has internet facilities through 250mbps leased line with BSNL and localloop by RailTel Corp.
The microwave lab is well equipped with all required equipments like klystron power supplies, microwave trainer kits, directional couplers etc.
We have separate play ground for cricket, footbaal, voleyball & Athletic Track for conducting extra caricular activities and Sports. The students of our college participate in all levels of Sports conducted.
